This project is located on HWY 12, eleven miles west of Trinidad in Las Animas County. This project will consist of the following: Box Culvert Extension, Road Widening to Include Turn Lanes, Removal & Replacement of Type 3 Guardrail, Hot Bituminous Asphalt Paving, Striping, and Seeding & Mulching. This Right of Way Access Improvement is for the new Pioneer Natural Resources Administration and Maintenance Facility. Construction was started in September of 2007 and all major construction has been completed to date.
