Daniel E. Tezak, President 

Mr. Tezak is the President of Tezak Heavy Equipment Co., Inc., and T.H.E. Aggregate Source, He has over 22 years of experience in construction.  He is a responsible and skilled professional.  He has functioned in the company as a job supervisor and estimator for jobs with CDOT, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Union Pacific Railroad, ADOT, City of Pueblo, City of Colorado Springs, Security Sanitation District, as well as many other municipalities and private companies.  Mr. Tezak ensures that all employees follow MSHA and OSHA standards and training and safety compliance. 

Rhonda K. Lewis, Vice President

Mrs. Lewis is the Vice President of Tezak Heavy Equipment Co., Inc. and also functions as our Controller.  As Danny’s sister, she also was raised in the heavy construction business.  Mrs. Lewis became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1995.  She worked as a tax manager for a local public accounting firm for five years before coming back to work in the family business in 1999.  She works closely with all aspects of the company and is a great resource for co-workers.

Randy DiLuzio, General Manager

Mr. DiLuzio joined Tezak Heavy Equipment from Power Motive Corporation in June of 2005 as the Fleet Manager. Randy began his 21 year career at Power Motive working as a Field Mechanic and worked his way up the Corporate ladder where he held the positions of Service Manager and Branch Manager. While acting as Tezak's Fleet Manager for the past 4 1/2 years; he has streamlined our maintenance operations and has implemented a sophisticated equipment costing software. In January of 2010, Randy was promoted to General Manager of Tezak Heavy Equipment where he will manage the day-to-day operations of the company. Randy has brought a high level of Professionalism and energy into the company.   


Mario J. Jimenez, Project Manager/Coordinator

Mr. Jimenez is a Project Manager/Project Coordinator.  He assists Mr. Tezak in all aspects of Project Management and all project coordination, as well as assist Mr. Adair and Mr. Lazor with projects.  Mr. Jimenez is a highly professional and organized individual who has brought an amazing level of experience and expertise to our company.

Troy Adair, Superintendent

Mr. Adair has been a Project Manager, Job Supervisor, Estimator and Equipment Operator with Tezak Heavy Equipment Co., Inc. since 1998.  He is a responsible and skilled professional.  His supervisory and management projects includes contracts for CDOT, City of Minturn, Triview Metro District, City of Canon City, U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers, and CDOW. 

Jody Lazor, Superintendent

Mr. Lazor has almost thirty years of experience in heavy equipment operation and supervision of all types of dirt work and utilities, and paving projects.  Mr. Lazor is skilled at planning and organizing work and resolving problems which arise in day-to-day activities.  He has proven to be conscientious, reliable and loyal to Tezak Heavy Equipment Co., Inc. as well as previous employers. Mr. Lazor has functioned in the company as a Job Superintendent on various road and pipe projects. 

Paul Hill, Superintendent

Mr. Hill joined us in 2011 and brings with him over 18 years experience in heavy equipment operation and project supervision on various types of dirt work, paving operations, and golf courses. Mr. Hill functions as a Job Superintendent on road projects for Tezak Heavy Equipment.

Wayde Lambert, Fleet Supervisor

Mr. Lambert joined Tezak Heavy Equipment in 2010 after many years in management at a heavy equipment distributor. He has extensive experience in heavy equipment repair and fleet management and provides equipment and repair support to the quarry as well as all project sites.

Bryan Danner, Estimator-Project Engineer

Mr. Danner joined Tezak Heavy Equipment as an Estimator and Project Engineer in 2009. He brings with him extensive experience in the estimating and construction management of complex projects both large and small. Bryan works closely with Danny preparing cost proposals and with Mario and the Project Superintendents in providing project management and support. His responsibilities also include design and CAD support for our fleet of GPS controlled grading equipment.

Joyce Pavetti, Office Manager

Mrs. Pavetti is the Office Manager and Corporate Secretary for Tezak Heavy Equipment Co., Inc. and over the years she has fulfilled many differennt job functions in the office. She is currently our DOT compliance officer. She prepares our payroll, including certified payroll, and monitors the drug screening. She also oversees our Job Apprenticeship Program in addition to EEO compliance and reporting on top of managing the daily routine of the office. Ms Pavetti brings a vast amount of construction administration experience to Tezak Heavy Equipment and she is an invaluable resource to all of the employees. She has over twenty-five years of experience, fifteen of which has been with Tezak Heavy Equipment Co., Inc.

Adele Swift, Administrative Assistant

Ms. Swift joined our Team in 2006 as our Administrative Assistant. She works directly with Danny, Randy, Mario, and Bryan with their daily operations. She handles contract and subcontract administration, and insurance compliance in addition to being DBE Liaison. Adele has been in management and administrative assistant roles for over twenty years, working in real estate, land development, and construction.

Terri Loeffel, Accounts Payable Clerk

Mrs. Loeffel joined our team in November of 2009 as our Accounts Payable Clerk. Terri brings 30 Years of accounting experience in the residential construction market to our team with the last seven years of her career as Accounting Manager for a Colorado Springs home builder. She works directly with Mrs. Lewis on the accounting side of our business.
