This machinery includes mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment such as semi-trucks, bulldozers, cranes, conveyors, and graders. It is the job of a Shop Mechanic to ensure that mechanical products and equipment are safe and functional at all times.

Construction estimators examine the blueprints, current material, labor costs, trends, as well as other contributing factors. After consideration of all the possible costs, the construction estimator presents an estimate of the cost of the project at hand to their client or company.
